Finella has a lovely temperament like her mother and thankfully just as pretty. She probably didn’t reach her full potential on the polo field due to Robert scaling back his polo for a few years (in which she would’ve reached her prime), but she was naturally an easy mare that Rebecca played before we decided to retain her to stud. Her full brother, Fly, was a schoolmaster style polo pony who was very easy and honest. James and Michael both learnt to play polo on him before he was sold as a leisure/beginner's horse to a family in nearby Willow Tree.
Finella had two lovely colts by Nabinabah Rockafella (one gelded) before we decided to join her with Haydon Zane. We thought that Zane’s strong thoroughbred lines would enhance Finella’s well put together progeny and potentially gain a bit more speed about them.

- Competed successfully in show jumping as a 3yr old and then sold for leisure riding

- Sold to Greg Read, ACT, for polo and stud duties
